COVID19 and the Classic Auto Show Update
First, we are concerned about your safety and hope you are all staying well and healthy in the midst of our national current state of affairs. WE WANT TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE OK!! We are continuing to work with health officials and are in discussion about how it is affecting events at the Arthritis Foundation on a nationwide scale. We are in discussion currently about the 38th Annual Classic Auto Show and Cruise In and will be able to update you very soon. Our national leadership team is following information from the state leadership, as everyone is doing. We will keep you posted as quickly as any information is available.
If you are not signed up for our email newsletters and updates, please send an email to Sarah Miller - SMiller@arthritis.org and ask to be added to our mailing list so you get future updates.
NOTE - This event is a major portion of the annual budget for The Arthritis Foundation locally. Services to those affected with this dreadful disease rely heavily on funds we generate through this great event. If the event is cancelled, or postponed, we would ask that you allow the Arthritis Foundation to retain your fees as a donation to their cause. We are hopeful that you can see your way to help the important mission of the Arthritis Foundation in this very unique and difficult time. Thank you for your understanding.
Kevin Gadd - Event Co-Chair
Susan Davis - Executive Director, Arthritis Foundation Central Ohio Office
Featured Marques: Born in 1970 - featuring models that were born in 1970, including AMC Gremlin and AMC Hornet, Ford Pinto and Ford Maverick, Chevy Monte Carlo and Chevy Vega, Datsun 240Z, Dodge Challenger, Citroen SM, Porsche 914, and IH Scout II.
The first show, in 1982, was a small one-day event, but it was a success. 38 years later, we find ourselves again at the Dublin Metro Center to host our, now, three-day celebration of classic automobiles in support of the Arthritis Foundation’s mission to boldly pursue a cure for America's #1 cause of disability, while championing the fight against arthritis with life-changing resources, science, advocacy and community connections.
Thursday join the Legends Tour leaving from the Metro Center and take a cruising tour of the historic Ohio byways with special stops and exclusive tours along the way. And now, we have added free family friendly events Thursday night! We call it Community Night so come on out and enjoy a relaxing evening with movie and other surprises.
Friday, we get the party started with the Cruise-In as we welcome the public to see hundred’s and hundred’s of cars on display in the Metro Center competing for 50 6-foot tall trophies. We will have bands, too, so stay and enjoy the music late.
Saturday, we expect to see 1000 classic cars on display in over 50 classes get judged looking for over 200 different awards. We will have a kid zone, special vehicle tents, food, drinks, the giant hospitality tent and more bands!
The Classic Auto Show and Cruise-In is like a fine wine, only getting better with age. Join us August 20-22, 2020 and make history while helping the millions of Ohioans affected by arthritis.
